So what sort of pepper flavor does Ghost pepper have? I can NOT get my chili hot enough with Cayenne & Habanero pepper. I like the tast of cayenne in chili but it is just no where hot enough for me. So would some Ghost pepper along with the cayenne be a good combination in NO bean chili??? Thank you, christina
Our oven dried Ghost Pepper has a natuarally slightly smoky flavor. Yes, it will make an excellent addition to your no bean chili. If you are just trying to add heat and do not want the flavor to be impacted by the smoky flavor of the Ghost Pepper I would recommend the Trinidad Scorpion as it has a slightly fruity flavor and will complement the Cayenne while adding a significant amount of heat.
