Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

We have noticed in the last few years that during the holidays shipping carriers have struggled to keep up with demand. We will do our very best to ship your order in a timely fashion and use the carrier you selected at checkout. Once the order leaves our facility, we do not have control over the mail. If you are ordering during the holidays, you might experience delays that are out of our control. The shipping times you see at checkout are provided by the shipping carriers. We have no control over this. We send them your package weight and dimension and in real time they send us back the rates and shipping times that are displayed. You should use the shipping time as guidance only. The shipping time does not include our processing time which is 1-2 business days.

There also might be unforeseen circumstances where we can’t ship your order within 2 business days for likely the following reasons:
1. High demand.
2. You provided us with a shipping address that can’t be verified. If that is the case, we will email you asking you to clarify the address.
3. Staffing shortages.
4. Out-of-stock products.

If your order is going to be delayed, we will make every effort to contact you. If you did not receive a shipping notice after the second day, please contact us at service@sonoranspice.com.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

We do not offer free shipping. When you see free shipping on other online stores the shipping cost is being embedded in the overall cost of the items. They typically will select the cheapest shipping method. We do not do this. We do not charge extra for shipping in order to make a profit off of it. We allow you to see the exact shipping rates from the carriers based on your shipment’s dimensions and weight. You get to decide how fast you would like the shipment depending on what shipping service you select at checkout. Most customers prefer this model as it allows for customers who need overnight, 2-day, expedited service the ability to select those options at checkout. If speed is not a concern you also have the option to select a cheaper shipping option.

Local delivery

We do offer local delivery in the Phoenix area for a fee. We use a courier service to get the order to you. Whatever the cost for the service is, is what you will pay. They open at 3 pm each day. A typical 100 lb order going from our warehouse in Scottsdale to Phoenix, Tempe, or Mesa is around $55. Cities further away in the Phoenix Area may cost more.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our store in Scottsdale. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up at the time of your choosing. You will need to select a time on the order confirmation page after you check out. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Please wait for the "order ready for pickup" email before heading to our store. Also please note our store is closed for walk-in shopping due to staff shortages. We hope to reopen the store for walk-in shopping in early 2022.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10:00 am – 4:30 pm M-F.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to many countries worldwide. They are some countries we do not deliver to due to fraud concerns, customs restrictions, and Coronavirus shutdowns. These are the countries we do not ship to:
Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Iran, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Zambia, Indonesia, Turks & Caicos Islands, Cyprus, Czechia, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Serbia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Macao SAR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Oman, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Yemen, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Estonia, Georgia, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Jersey, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Mayotte, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Réunion, Slovakia, Slovenia, Mexico, and Colombia.

International shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Sonoran Spice is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are the responsibility of the customer. We have very little means or rights to coordinate customs in foreign countries. Please contact your local customs office before you place an order to learn about restrictions and associated costs.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at service@sonoranspice.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

UPS and FEDEX in general do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you need a delivery to P.O. Box, please select USPS at checkout.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 60 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at service@sonoranspice.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
